The following tasks are part of the project:

• development of algorithms and testing of auditory schema (sonifcations) that allo interpretation of local characteristics of an image (brightness, colour, texture) and shapes of objects selected by a blind person by touch,
• development of the tactile-sonic interface that implements the sonification algorithms in real time,
• verification and comparison of the developed algorithms for interactive sonification of images for the blind.

The final result of the project will be the determination of sonification algorithms that allow unobiquous and fast interpretation of image contents by blind persons.
